The Medal

You've seen the trophy, now we are putting  the final touch to the most sought after award, the randonnuer medal. It will be ready for those who complete the worlds longest signed posted coastal route on the WAWA.

The medal depicts :
1/  Mizen to Malin Ireland's end to end ride. For the randonneurs, they will cycle it the long way up the coast - 1760km.
2/ The Wild Atlantic Way Audax, the overall iconic ride
3/ Names of the counties the randonneurs will pass trough on their journey to ultra randonneur status.
4/ Counties are in Irish /Gaelic, the language spoken in the Gaeltacht areas on the route.
5/  The map of the country you rode the event in.
6/ The cyclist is gold plated, a gold feather in the hat of your cycling accomplishments.
7/  2100km is the distance
8/   The WAWA ribbon to wear the medal.
9/  The Audax Ireland parent organisation, who are facilitating the event.
10/  Logo of the WAWA - both the peace bridge in Derry and Charles Fort bridge in Kinsale
